About the Job
Maximus is currently hiring for Diagnostic Uploaders to join our Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) team. This is a remote opportunity. The Diagnostic Uploader is responsible for uploading veteran diagnostic results to their case, ensuring accuracy and correctness of information, and updating as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review report from top to bottom. Make sure the name, DOB, Test and facility match (always checking to make sure no other Veteran is attached to the PDF).
- Mark Test status seen as needed. Make sure diagnostic test date matches unless it is a prior result.
- Check for DX mileage on VBA cases (VHA does not have mileage).
- Double check all CPT codes and match the CPT codes on reports. If they do not match make corrections.
- Confirm what was ordered is uploaded. Comment on what was not ordered.
- Double check and confirm that no other Veteran's information was uploaded to the case.
- Assist others when they need a second review.
- Answer questions pertaining to diagnostic results or calling on late diagnostic issues.
- Train new employees.
- Ensure uploads are low and do not overflow.
- Review comments and cases' comments.
- Review diagnostic mail from facilities and confirm we have all diagnostics for Billing to pay out.
- Review prior reports from Veterans and VBMS.
- Email diagnostic report tracking specialist when needing a late diagnostic.
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to complete 2-week training 8am-5pm CT Monday-Friday with no absences required
- Ability to work a shift of 1pm-10pm CT Monday-Friday or 3pm-12am CT Monday-Thursday and Saturday required

- Preferred Windows or Mac (no Chromebooks)
- OS for Windows - Windows 10 or newer
- OS for Mac - Big Sur (11.0.1+); Catalina (10.15); MacOS (up to 12.5) or newer
- Connectivity to the internet via either Wi-Fi or Category 5 or 6 ethernet patch cable to the home router
- USB plug and play wired headset with noise suppression
- Private work area and adequate power source
- A second monitor is highly recommended for most positions
- Must currently and permanently reside in the Continental US

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
