We are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves overseeing a variety of platform and product deployments while collaborating closely with developers, scrum teams, and information security to manage and improve release processes. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in DevSecOps practices and be passionate about driving automation, process improvement, and platform security.
The base range for this is 125k - 135k salary, depending on experience.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. We are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves overseeing a variety of platform and product deployments while collaborating closely with developers, scrum teams, and information security to manage and improve release processes. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in DevSecOps practices and be passionate about driving automation, process improvement, and platform security.
Responsibilities
- Automate and orchestrate workloads across internal on-premises and external public cloud providers.
- Evaluate critical systems, identify process improvements, and act as a DevSecOps Change Agent to enhance programs and products.
- Formulate and deliver actionable recommendations to apply Agile practices for real-time improvement.
- Contribute as an individual or as part of a team to develop and deliver both prototype and production software.
- Build, administer, and manage processes introducing DevSecOps principles such as testing, prototyping, security, and automation.
- Assess and analyze release components, providing inputs for release scheduling.
- Offer guidance and expertise to promote adoption of tools, methods, and adherence to policies and standards.
- Configure and optimize CI/CD pipelines for seamless code integration and deployment.
- Develop tools and processes for automated code check-in, merging, and packaging for production releases.
- Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot issues, enhancing user performance and system reliability.
- Provide strategic recommendations to improve environmental performance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a DevSecOps role at the enterprise level.
- Proficiency with open-source technologies and tools.
- 3+ years of experience using Azure DevOps.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools like Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of Agile SAFe Continuous Delivery Pipeline and DevOps environments.
- Experience modifying Azure DevOps pipelines using YAML.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Batch, Awk, JavaScript, or Perl.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Training in software development and Agile, Scrum, or SAFe frameworks.
- Knowledge of CI/CD techniques.
Preferred
- DevSecOps Certified Professional (DSOCP).
- SAFe certification.
