- Governance Framework Development
- Define and implement a robust RPA governance framework, including policies, standards, and procedures for process identification, automation feasibility assessment, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Establish clear roles and responsibilities for all stakeholders involved in the RPA lifecycle, from business users to developers and IT teams.
- Create a comprehensive documentation repository for RPA processes, design documents, and change management procedures.
- Process Assessment and Prioritization
- Collaborate with business units to identify potential automation opportunities, evaluating process complexity, volume, and impact on efficiency.
- Analyze business processes to determine feasibility and prioritize automation projects aligned with strategic goals.
- Develop business cases for proposed automation initiatives, including ROI calculations and cost-benefit analysis.
- Ensure adherence to governance guidelines during the development and implementation phases of RPA projects.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards throughout the automation lifecycle.
- Review and approve solution designs, ensuring consistency with established standards and best practices
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s Degree with mature understanding of Robotics Process Automation (RPA) concepts
- Total IT experience – minimum of 5 years
- 3 years of experience Robotic Process Automation platform and development
- 3 years of knowledge in an RPA platform (i.e., UiPath, MS Power Automate, Automation Anywhere, etc) automating applications working with MS Office, Windows, Web, Mainframe, AS400 – Preferably in Financial Domain
- Deep understanding of RPA technologies and platforms (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify automation opportunities and potential challenges
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proven project management skills to oversee RPA initiatives from inception to deployment
- Knowledge of business process modeling and improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma)
- Experience in change management and user adoption strategies
- Familiarity with data governance and security practices.
- Preferable Hands-On RPA tool experience like UiPath, MS Power Automate, Automation Anywhere
- Understanding of RPA infrastructure platform
- Good understanding of Attended vs. Unattended Robotics Implementations
- Nice to have: Knowledge of Citrix environment with RPA Tools
- Nice to have: Knowledge of OCR tools (ABBYY FlexiCapture, ABBYY FineReader, Tesseract, MS MODI, etc.)
- Nice to have: Prior C#/ASP.NET or Java experience (MS Visual Studio)
- Nice to have: Knowledge of other automation tools such as Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, etc
- Plus: Experience with UiPath Automation Suite products: Process Mining, Automation Hub, Insights Business Intelligence and Dashboards, Document Understanding, AI Center, Action Center, Task Mining, Task Capture, Studio Family, Test Manager, Tester
- Individual contributor who can create and deliver quality deliverables with little to no supervision
- Knowledge of financial industry
- Creative and flexible in identifying technical solutions to resolve business problems in a rapidly changing, demanding and complex business environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Flexible and adaptable, the individual will be open to learning new methodologies, tools, platforms, and systems
- Role requires individuals to be open minded, able to make sound decisions without having all the facts
