Responsibilities
As a DevOps Engineer, you will:
Azure Infrastructure Management:
Design, implement, and manage Azure services like VMs, networks, and storage.
Develop ARM templates to maintain infrastructure as code (IaC).
Optimize Azure resources for reliability, security, and scalability.
CI/CD Pipeline Development:
Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar tools.
Automate build, test, and deployment processes to streamline operations.
Monitor and improve CI/CD performance for efficient software delivery.
Containerization and Orchestration:
Deploy and manage Docker containers, leveraging Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for orchestration.
Ensure effective scaling and deployment of containerized applications.
Security and Compliance:
Implement security best practices and compliance measures across Azure environments.
Conduct audits and collaborate with the security team to address vulnerabilities.
Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
Utilize Azure Monitor and Application Insights for proactive monitoring.
Diagnose and resolve issues impacting application performance and infrastructure stability.
Collaboration and Documentation:
Foster teamwork across software development and operations teams.
Document infrastructure setups, configurations, and operational procedures.
Mentor team members and facilitate knowledge sharing within the organization.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a focus on Microsoft Azure environments.
Proficiency in Azure services such as VMs, AKS, Azure Functions, and Azure SQL Database.
Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or similar languages.
Experience with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps.
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) using ARM templates or Terraform.
Understanding of security protocols, compliance frameworks, and monitoring solutions.
Preferred Certifications
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
