Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. This role is integral to ensuring seamless collaboration between development and operations teams, driving automation, and improving system reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of new applications and services.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for proactive issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices across all infrastructure and applications.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in DevOps practices and tools.
- Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and configurations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- Hands-on experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
