About the Job
Key Responsibilities:
- Architectural Design: Create scalable and secure CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Strategy Development: Implement DevOps strategies and best practices to optimize the software development lifecycle.
- CI/CD Pipeline Development: Build and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure security and compliance within CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.
- Automation: Develop scripts and tools to automate deployment, infrastructure provisioning, and routine tasks.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline processes.
- Monitoring & Maintenance: Monitor system performance, ensure high availability, and handle incidents as needed.
- Configuration Management: Manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
- Security: Implement security best practices in CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.
- Documentation: Create and update documentation for CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and operational procedures.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve issues related to application deployment and infrastructure.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Proven experience in a DevOps role.
- Extensive experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, and other CI/CD tools.
- Experience with Azure cloud.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, Go, or PowerShell.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Understanding of networking, security, and system administration.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Capability to drive change and implement new processes.
- Certifications in relevant technologies (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA, etc.).
- Experience with other CI/CD tools and platforms (Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.).
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
