DTB - PT, Flex ITQ Development Specialist IPS Central Pack R&D
Local to the Minneapolis/St. Paul area preferred. While much of the work can be done remotely, some may require being on-site at the James Ford Bell Technical center in Golden Valley, MN.
Personal or agency provided technology will be used for this assignment (please no Macs) and GMI VDI will be provisioned.
This is an ITQ Dynamic Talent Bench, 1300 hour track position. This is an ITQ Dynamic Talent, 1300 hour track position. Seeking flexible, part-time talent with package development experience, ideally in human or pet food consumer packaged goods. Hours will range from 16-25 hrs/wk during first shift business hours (7am-5pm CST), Monday through Friday, may be flexible from week to week, and will not exceed 1300 hours annually. Position is intended to be open-ended, so there is no true end date. Contracts will be extended as long as success in assignments is achieved.
Central Pack is a centralized packaging team that relies on deep GMI packaging systems and processing expertise to drive project efficiency that unlocks capacity for all OUs. As the Central Pack Development Specialist, you will have a key role in the acceleration and execution of straight-forward packaging projects across all business units and brands. The Central Pack Development Specialist will work on a variety of project types including line extensions, PPA, HMM and Canadian lift and shift projects from charter through launch. You will cross functionally with team members that include Marketing, Packaging suppliers, FSQ, and packaging and product R&D. This role will be working in close partnership with the XDS (eXternal Development Solutions) team.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
" Coordinate line extension, PPA and Canadian projects through GMI systems including gPLM, TOPS, and Eclips
" Collaborate with Marketing, OU Packaging R&D, Plant SEs, Sourcing, Vendors and cross-functional teams to execute projects
" Build and leverage an internal and external network to support and execute work
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
" High School Diploma
" 3 years of related experience (packaging material coordination for product launches)
" Experience on different product platforms
" Working knowledge of gPLM (specifications), ECLIPS (package copy), TOPs (packaging tool), and STEP systems
" Strong organizational and collaboration skills, high attention to detail, and service orientation are essential
" Ability to communicate effectively and contribute to a team environment to deliver results
" Strong self-starter with a high regard for quality of work and who can effectively manage multiple competing priorities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
" Previous work experience in packaging
" Experience on multiple businesses or platforms
" Working knowledge of product formulation and product design
" 5 years of related experience (packaging material coordination for product launches)
