About the Job
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Communications, Marketing Communications, or Event Planning and Management Degree with 3 + years experience.
CREDENTIALS: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with a strong knowledge of Word and Excel. The position requires a working knowledge and ability to utilize various social media marketing platforms.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Strong interpersonal, written, verbal communication skills and the ability to work with a range of people. Detailed orientated, excellent organization skills, be self-motivated, energetic and flexible. Must have the ability to handle multiple projects and meet critical deadlines. The position requires the ability to be a team player committed to relationship-building for the agency.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals.
Communication Skills: Strong social and interpersonal communication skills are essential.:
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Possess the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Driving Ability: Must have and maintain a current California driver's license.
