Dev-Ops Engineer III - Rapiscan

Rapiscan Systems, designs, manufactures and markets security and inspection systems worldwide. The Software group is looking for a DevOps Engineer who is highly motivated, results-driven, and passionate about technologies to join our growing team to change the way the world interacts with security screening systems.

• Develops standalone Ubuntu installer to deploy ScanOS product
• Develop ESXi OVA/OVF for networked deployments
• Integrate build processes into Jenkins and Bitbucket build pipelines
• Create and maintain Software BOMs
• Work with SecOPS to perform product scans and assist with remedial activities
• Assist local and remote staff with deployments
• Design procedurs for system troubleshooting and maintenance
• Uphold the company’s core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork
• Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct
• It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem
• Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

• BSC Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Min 5 years of experience
• Excellent teamworking and communication skills
• Knowledge of Operating Systems, Ubuntu
• Knowledge of Networking, including Docker networking
• Exposure to programming languages, Python, C++, JavaScript (React)
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
• Awareness of DevOps and Agile principles
