Responsibilities:
- Efficiently perform work activities while actively seeking cost-saving opportunities.
- Build and install PCs, assist with telephone installs, and troubleshoot issues with wireless networks and peripheral devices such as printers, scanners, and mobile devices related to desktop infrastructure, in line with department standards.
- Support users and provide guidance utilizing Microsoft Active Directory.
- Offer advice and assistance to colleagues in resolving IT incidents.
- Identify, log, and resolve technical issues with software applications or network systems.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of IT challenges.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a desktop support role, with hands-on knowledge of building and installing PCs.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting network connectivity issues and peripheral devices (printers, scanners, smartphones, etc.).
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach to technical support.
- Ability to explain technical information to both technical and non-technical users.
