Desktop Support Specialist (Contract Position)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Desktop Support Specialist for a short-term contract position, with the possibility of extension based on project needs and performance. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle password resets and troubleshooting with professionalism and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-level technical support, including password resets and account management.
Troubleshoot and resolve desktop hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Respond to customer inquiries promptly and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Document issues and resolutions accurately in the ticketing system.
Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless IT operations.
Follow established IT protocols and contribute to process improvement.
Requirements:
MUST BE LOCAL TO ONE OF THE LOCATIONS LISTED BELOW
Microsoft Certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or equivalent) preferred.
Proven experience in desktop support and troubleshooting in a corporate environment.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users effectively.
Familiarity with Active Directory for account and password management.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Availability for a short-term contract with potential extension.
Work Details:
Location: Whittier, CA, Downey, CA and LA Area
Contract Duration: 1 week, could be extended for multiple weeks
Start Date: Tuesday, Dec 10
Work Hours: 8 to 5pm with possible longer shifts
