Description
Work as a Desktop Support Technician for an enterprise level, financial services company here in the Quad Cities!
In this position you will provide Tier 2, Deskside Support. You will work with end-users and assist them with hardware and software problems. You will also decommission and recommission IT devices.
Duties
- Provide IT support for internal PCs, printers, servers, and related equipment.
- Interact with customers face to face, as well as provide remote support.
- Monitor and respond timely to support tickets in the ITC queue(s).
- Document Service Desk tickets, resolve or escalate for resolution.
- Assist L1 Service Desk tickets in the regional ITC queue supporting all locations in the region/company.
- Send Corporate IT communications to internal customers.
- Complete PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images and software.
- Train new employees on the use of PC and other networked equipment using standard training documents.
- Assign users and computers to proper business groups in Active Directory.
- Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, connection, and software issues reported to the Service Desk and assigned to the regional ITC.
- Coordinate with authorized vendors for PC hardware repair.
- Monitor and remove virus, spy-ware, and other non-authorized software.
- Maintain and/or coordinate PC hardware inventory.
- Order and purchase standard equipment and software through approved vendors.
- Support Desktop Management with post - mass deployment issues of standard software.
- Upgrade local server software as necessary.
- Maintain network file and printer server.
- Provide phone support in centralized VoIP locations.

- Team consists of Remote Service Desk Analysts, Onsite-Desktop Support Technicians, Logistics and Team Leads.
- Onsite 5x per week in Davenport, IA.
- Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $22.00
