Work Location : Onsite Day 1 - Irvine, CA/Redwood City, CA

Job Description/ Responsibilities
• Previous Data Center / Computer room operational and technical experience.
o Working knowledge of how data center facilities infrastructure systems (power, cooling, security, fire-protection) work and operate to support the IT environment.
o Working knowledge of server / network systems, installation, operation, and maintenance practices.
o Working knowledge and understanding of network environments and topologies.
o Working knowledge of IT equipment and inter-connectivity to other subsystems.
• Good communication skills and prompt follow-up to replies and messages.
o Ability to communicate using various methods and media with local and remote support teams.
o Knowledge of IT, Networking, and Data Center infrastructure support terminology
• Has knowledge / experience in applying IT Operational and Industry best practices.
o Performed and assisted with incident response, root cause analysis, reporting and CAPA resolutions.
o Experience with task ticketing system management and fulfillment
o Experience in local IT asset identification, inventory, documentation, and management processes.
o Oversight of IT process adherence by local resources, vendors and technicians working in IT spaces.
o Oversight of onsite teams to ensure orderliness, cleanliness, and accessibility of all onsite IT spaces.
• Works independently with little to no direct supervision in analysis, design, and implementation of IT system solutions to fulfill business unit requirements.
• Problem-solving skills to assess and evaluate operational issues that are communicated to appropriate support teams in support of problem resolution.
• A demonstrated ability to encourage and model positive cross-team partnerships.
• Experience with Visio, or other CAD type application(s) to create and modify IT Space room and rack diagrams utilizing client provided templates and tool aides.
• Familiar with the following software applications: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Visio, MS Outlook, MS Teams, Google Chrome; Amazon Web Services (User)
• Minimum 5 years data center experience
• College degree in Computer Science or similar
• Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or equivalent i.e. Client Accredited Systems Engineer (ASE)
• Data Center operational or technical certifications
• Network operational or technical certifications
