Detailed Job Description:
This position will be responsible for imaging, configuring, and deploying remote work equipment for agency employees in support of a new hybrid workplace initiative. Additionally, it will be responsible for providing 2nd level technical assistance for software and hardware related to the initiative. This position requires extensive knowledge and experience with desktop technology including, but not limited to, Windows desktop operating systems, desktop applications, Apple iPads, and Apple iPhones. This position receives escalated level support issues from an internal Service Desk. The incumbent shall have 3 or more years of experience in a Desktop Support position and be familiar with a variety of concepts, practices and procedures relating to Desktop Support. This Desktop Support position relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. This Desktop Support position is expected to independently perform a variety of desktop related tasks and serve as a desktop expert on day-to-day end user issues. A wide degree of self-direction, prioritization and latitude are expected. On call/stand-by hours may be required with this position.

Qualification Experience
- Microsoft Windows 10 Support 3 years.
- Microsoft Office product support 5 years.
- Active Directory Tools 3 years.
- Troubleshooting computer hardware and peripherals 5 years.
- Knowledge of VMware or Citrix virtual desktop 1 year.
- Technical Assistance and User Support 5 years.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and advanced customer support skills 3 years.
- Experience in technical writing and documentation 3 years.

- Must be able to lift 50lbs. as needed.
- Must have a valid WI Drivers License.
- An in-person interview may be required before a final hire is made. The hiring manager has discretion to allow phone or virtual interviews at any point during the process.
- The selected candidate will be required to sign all onboarding documents as part of the onboarding process. Candidate will also be required to complete any security training as directed by the division, department, or agency.
- The selected candidate will be required to complete a criminal background check and any fingerprinting as required by the position.
- This position is budgeted for 1960 hours annually. Hours will be pro-rated based on the start date. This position will also require some limited on call hours.
