We are currently partnering with a prestigious PE Fund looking to add a Desktop & Moblie Support Engineer. This role delivers exceptional and comprehensive end-user support to colleagues at all organizational levels across five global offices. In addition, it encompasses key responsibilities related to the daily administration and operation of IT systems, including, but not limited to, account configuration (both on-premises and cloud-based), device configuration, software installations, systems patching, and mobile device management.
Responsibilities:
- Configure, install, and maintain Windows operating systems along with associated applications to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
- Provide application support for a variety of software, including Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Adobe, Mekko Graphics, SharePoint, Zoom, DealCloud, Capital IQ, and additional tools as needed.
- Efficiently troubleshoot and resolve end-user IT issues, escalating more complex systems or network problems to senior IT team members, while collaborating to enhance knowledge and improve processes.
- Administer and manage mobile devices, including iPhones, iPads, and Android devices, as well as corporate service plans and loaner equipment.
- Oversee the daily check-in and check-out of audio and video equipment in conference rooms to ensure readiness for meetings.
- Log and track all support requests within the IT ticketing system to maintain accurate records of IT issues and resolutions.
- Support the procurement, deployment, maintenance, and inventory management of all end-user IT hardware, assisting with new user setups and office relocations.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of system documentation, including guides for new user setups, end-user training, PC imaging, and mobile device configurations.
- Ensure a stable and reliable computing environment by maintaining consistency across desktops via enterprise desktop management tools.
- Coordinate, set up, monitor, and troubleshoot local presentations, conference calls, and video conferences, including international sessions.
- Assist with evaluating new IT solutions to drive improvements and enhance system efficiency.
- Play an active role in supporting the completion of Firm-wide IT projects and initiatives.
Qualtiifications:
- Ideal candidates will have 1 - 2 years of work experience in a similar capacity in a professional services organization and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Windows OS and Microsoft 365 as well as access control models is required as is experience with managing conference room audio/video equipment.
