Job Description:
- Under general supervision, assists customers with tier one issues or forwards to second tier support for issues beyond their subject matter expertise.
Complete Description:
- Under general supervision for the client, the support analyst assists customers with tier one issues or forwards to second tier support for issues beyond their subject matter expertise.
- Works and communicates with state employees, internal customers, and/or external customers to provide information and services targeted to meet customer expectations.
- While the intent may be a long-term tenure, this position is subject to annual budget restrictions.
- The initial contract is through the end of this fiscal year and is anticipated to be renewed July 1st.
Required:
- Associate's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university
- OR Two years of experience at the lower-level Help Desk Analyst 1 or position equivalent.
- An equivalent combination of education and job specific experience that provided the knowledge, experience and competencies required to successfully performing the job at the level listed may be substituted on a year-over-year basis.
- 1-2 professional references from a former IT hiring manager may be requested.
