Desktop Engineer - Alliance Solutions

Fairfield County Financial Services Company is seeking a talented Support Technician. Candidate will be responsible for installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all PC related hardware and software to ensure optimal workstation performance. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide hands-on first level service of the technology environment, management of support tickets, answering support calls, asset management, and desktop service
• Provide troubleshooting and service for the desktop/laptop environment
• Participate in IT process development and documentation efforts
• Oversee operating procedures, configurations, and documentation for hardware and software, adhering to business standards

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum 3 years of information systems experience supporting office technology and desktop support
• Experience supporting Windows 10 required
• Technical certifications (i.e. A+ certification) or computer support training gained through formal education preferred
• Experience in diverse infrastructure technologies including desktop, applications and printers / scanners /faxes
• Ability to provide hands on and remote troubleshooting, support and resolution of technology issues
• Understanding of IT principles and an ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience
