Job DescriptionAt Shaker Recruitment Marketing, we design across all media and candidate touchpoints with the goal of breaking through and truly resonating with our target audience. With the candidate at the center, we take our client’s objectives and values and create deep, meaningful connections – ones that not only speak to right-fit candidates but that also spark action. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design for a wide range of client deliverables in accordance with client requests, including print, out-of-home, websites, social, etc.
- Collaborate with other designers, art directors, creative director, copywriters, developers, project managers, clients and account teams.
- Design using Adobe Creative Cloud tools (special focus on Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) with a particular focus on visual communication.
- Utilizing brand guidelines and other assets provided by the client, ensure that branding is accurately represented in all deliverables.
- Design or help design career sites including learning how to design for third-party/partner templated sites.
- Design and contribute assets to support a larger client project or campaign.
- Be able or willing to learn how to ideate and present concepts and ideas.
- Collaborate with project managers to help prioritize and hit deadlines with quality work.
- Develop and edit videos using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Edit live-action videos from existing assets.
- Concept and create motion graphics in various styles.
- Collaborate with design and social media team members to create videos and animated gifs that meet the needs of the project and match the aesthetic of our client’s brands.
- As needed, storyboard and concept for video projects.
REQUIREMENTS
- A creative portfolio displaying a range of creative work with examples across media channels including print, digital and social media and video.
- A strong understanding of design principles for type, shape, color, and motion/animation/video.
- Bachelor’s degree in visual communication or related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud apps including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, as well as Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Some experience and/or proficiency in Figma a plus.
- Ability to create GIF animations.
- Strong visual, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to present creative work and the rationale that supports it.
- A real appetite to grow and learn new things.
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and in a high-volume environment.
- Strength in prioritizing workload, meeting or exceeding deadlines.
- Ability to constructively accept and positively provide feedback.
- Willingness and ability to work with multiple clients concurrently.
- A passion for creative and a desire to question the status quo through dedication to innovative creativity.
- Daily project time tracking and time sheet entry as appropriate and required.
- An eagerness to learn about the recruitment marketing industry and support the agency’s success.
