Job Overview:
Pools of Fun, Indiana's leading in-ground swimming pool builder, is seeking a motivated and creative Design Sales Consultant to join our sales team. In this dynamic role, you will guide homeowners in creating their dream outdoor spaces by presenting and designing custom pool packages. Leads are already generated; your primary role will be to call and close deals. You will work in high-luxury homes, traveling to clients' homes, and your ability to combine technical expertise with excellent customer service will help transform visions into stunning backyard realities. - Conduct presentations and provide detailed quotes for custom pool packages.
- Create quotes and close deals based on pre-generated leads.
- Create accurate pool designs based on customer specifications and requirements.
- Maintain detailed and accurate client files following each sale.
- Participate in pre-construction meetings with the project superintendent and homeowners to align expectations.
- Develop a strong understanding of swimming pool products, codes, and industry standards.
- Assist with pool layout by shooting elevations, staking, and squaring pools for construction.
- Provide professional guidance on the construction process to clients.
- Collaborate in the development of new programs and sales initiatives.
- Manage leads, including conducting follow-up calls for pool bids.
- Submit weekly sales reports to management.
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times, representing the company in a presentable and courteous manner.
- Bachelor's degree in sales management and at least 4 years of luxary sales experience, or equivalent training and experience.(Preferred)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Personable, team-oriented, and customer-focused.
- Highly self-motivated, able to multitask, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general technical drawing skills.
- Basic knowledge of construction processes and ability to read elevations.

- This is a full-time position with regular business hours. Occasional flexibility may be required based on customer needs and project schedules.
