Design and Sales Consultant - Luxury Showroom Sales
Compensation:
- $22-24/hr. + 10% GP commission on written orders
- To begin your first month of employment, you will be on a monthly individual commission guarantee of $1,500 for 6 months
Store Hours:
- Monday–Friday: 10am–6pm
- Saturday: 10am–6pm
- Sunday: 11am–5pm
Shift:
- 40 hours a week
- Rotating weekend shifts
Summary:
- This is a high-end kitchen and bath showroom that offers a comprehensive shopping experience. The Sales and Design Consultant distinguishes the store by offering intuitive design and sales expertise allowing the customer to experience the company brand and exceeding their shopping expectations. The consultant should be energetic, passionate about kitchen and bath design, personable, and have professional sales experience. Sales and Design Consultant is expected to provide prompt and friendly service when working with homeowners, design trade, and contractors.
An ideal candidate will have:
- 2+ years of experience in luxury sales; experience in kitchen/bath design and sales is preferred
- Knowledge of products sold in the showroom preferred
- Experience working with luxury, high end products and customers
- Be knowledgeable of kitchen and bath design trends
- Ability to work weekends
- Possess strong verbal and written skills
- Possess excellent planning, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Be capable of being a strong leader, able to quickly build trust, and manage a results-driven and service-minded team.
- Be self-directed, detailed, and highly organized
- Manage and develop customer, trade, and company relationships
Duties:
- Providing expert product selection assistance and design services to our showroom customers in both the showroom and at the customer's location
- Providing a high level of customer service, hospitality and warmly welcome each customer
- Sell and design in-store and/or in-home design consultations for kitchen and bathrooms
- Drive sales and achieve or exceed monthly sales goals and GM
- Follow up on leads and generate new business
- Manage customers and sales from beginning to end of project
- Be motivated, detailed, highly organized and capable of working in a team-selling and service minded environment
- Keep showroom clean, neat, current, stocked, and safely displayed
- Weekends required
