Responsibilities:
Identify, contract, and manage external design consultants on multiple concurrent projects.
Cultivate strong relationships with consultants to ensure project alignment and success.
Develop and execute a strategic approach to obtain competitive pricing and proposals from design consultants.
Evaluate proposals to ensure they align with project requirements and budget constraints.
Collaborate with design consultants to define a comprehensive Scope of Work (SOW) and project deliverables.
Ensure accuracy and alignment of SOWs with project objectives.
Continuously define and improve consultant SOW statements.
Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of design milestones.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to manage and adjust ongoing schedules as needed.
Monitor project costs and budgets, identifying potential issues and proposing corrective actions.
Collaborate with finance and project teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Oversee project billing processes, including reviewing and approving invoices.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project financial records.
Implement a robust quality assurance/quality control process for design drawings.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, code requirements and project specifications.

- Solicit Consultant Pricing/ Proposals:

- Cost Management:

Ensure compliance with industry standards, code requirements and project specifications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Project Management, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Design Project Manager in the design industry.
- Strong knowledge of design project management principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management software/tools.
- Ability to manage multiple design projects concurrently.
- Modular experience is preferred, but not necessary.
