Detail Technician - Ichor Systems, Inc.

Overview

Duties/Responsibilities – Other duties may be assigned

• Removing of sharp edges on precision machined metal parts
• Sand and Scotch bright using orbital sanders/die grinders, etc.
• Washing and cleaning parts
• Visual inspection for scratches/dings and defects
• Communicate with supervisors for priorities and cosmetic issues

Job Skills:

• Requires individuals to be very detail oriented with a thorough understanding of metal working tools, both mechanical and manual
• Must be able to read and understand part drawings with special attention to surface finish requirements and edge breaks

Desired Education/Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent qualification required
• Quick learner
• Team player and work well with others
• Good communication
• Bilingual
• Strong work ethic
• Use of orbital sanders/deburring wheels and scotch bright bits.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift/or move up to 50 pounds

The base salary range for this full-time position is $21.73 - $36.92 hourly. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.  Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure, and relevant education or training.  The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.  Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
