Design Engineer at Marshall Air Systems, Inc

The Design Engineer has a unique opportunity to custom design sheet metal product full commercial kitchens. This position will determine and implement mechanical designs that meet cost and schedule objectives as well as customer requirements. The position will have the opportunity to create and build first class prototypes of projects along with routine to complex design tasks requiring the operation and application of 3D computer aided design equipment. This position communicates with customers and venders.

Best candidates will have the following:

• B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Two years manufacturing design experience
• Must be able to design metal parts with CAD design techniques, skills & design rules
• Must be able to prepare drawings to client specifications, perform calculations and prepare layouts, renditions, variations for applications.
• A working knowledge of Autodesk Inventor 3D modeling software (Solidworks experience is an acceptable substitute) is a plus.
• A solid work ethic and the ability to communicate with a variety of departments and groups required.

Experience:

• Autodesk Inventor: 1 year (Preferred)
• CAD: 1 year (Preferred)
• SolidWorks: 1 year (Preferred)

Schedule:

· Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
