Design Engineer - The Fountain Group

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a ­­­­­­­­Design Engineer for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in ­­Bloomfield, CT. Details for the position are as follows:

Pay Range: $45-51/hr
Contract: 1 year with possible extension or conversion
100% onsite

Job Description:

• Responsible for the CAD related design, development, and manufacturing implementation of engineering programs that meet business standards and program / product requirements.
• Execute designs with solid modeling software (PTC Creo / Windchill) to create models, assemblies, detailed drawings, and BOMs for designs which may include plastic, stamped metal, and electrically conductive parts and familiarity with SAP for supply chain management and process flow.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for all design work and present material for technical review including but not limited to tolerance loops, drawings, bill of materials, product cost, problem and action lists, risk management, and failure root cause analysis reviews.

• Bachelor's degree
• Design for industrial or electrical distribution products
