Description: 

Provides comprehensive project management support for commercial customer-sited Distributed Energy Resource projects interconnecting at distribution and transmission voltages and acts as a single point of contact for customers and their developers. Manages multiple projects concurrently, at varying phases of the project lifecycle, with diverse scope, schedule, cost, and stakeholders driven by system size, delivery voltage, and complexity. Provides technical and workflow guidance to internal project team members and external stakeholders.

• Monitors and manages project team performance, including up to 15 technical subject matter experts in various operational and engineering areas.
• Facilitates and leads project scoping processes to define project scope, estimate project durations, and assign tasks to project team members.
• Monitors and reports commercial interconnection program metrics to leadership.

- Communicates project updates to team, management, and external solar and storage developers and customers.

• Proactively identifies risks and develops and implements risk management strategies.
• Follows established processes and standards, while keeping eye out for potential improvements to bring to team, including process, system, and standards improvements.
• Ability to adapt and ramp quickly on new technologies or types of projects.
• Reviews cost estimates for accuracy and manages project costs, performance against budgets, and performs accounting procedures.
• Ability to comprehend technical information and concepts quickly, collaborate and build effective relationships with engineering and field staff.
• Represents company with customers and their contractors.
• Coordinates and attends site visits to ensure key construction elements are covered and address any on-site issues.
• Communicates questions from subject matter experts to the customer to ensure clarity and address any issue promptly.
