About the Job
ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Deputy Program Manager to join our team in Doral, FL . The Deputy Program Manager provides leadership, management, direction, administration, and quality assurance for a large, complex enterprise IT service management (ITSM) program for a DoD customer (USSOUTHCOM).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Ensuring customer mission success across numerous concurrent ITSM and modernization tasks
+ Stakeholder engagement including but not limited to engaging with senior government staff
+ Ensuring quality and timeliness of all deliverables
+ Workforce management
+ Applying financial controls
+ Financial and status reporting both to the government and corporate leadership
+ Risk management
Minimum Qualifications:
+ 10+ years of overall project/program management experience including planning, directing, coordinating, and managing people and deliverables. Experience may include government service.
+ 5+ of experience leading geographically dispersed IT operations and engineering staff of varying skill levels in a dynamic environment.
+ Bachelor’s Degree or 10+ years of experience leading high-performing teams
Desired Qualifications:
+ Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.
+ An active certification in one of the following:
+ Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP)
+ Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification.
Clearance Requirements:
+ Must have and active/current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
Physical Requirements:
+ The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
