Overview:East West Bank is currently seeking a Deposit Relationship Manager. The Deposit Relationship Manager focusing on deposit products for the Southern California Region will have deposit gathering and treasury management experience; as well as established long term relationships.
Responsibilities:- Prospect and network to create relationships that will drive new deposit opportunities across the footprint.
- Identify potential new business opportunities and provide the appropriate solutions
- Manage sales process to include proposal and implementation
- Develop strategic sales plan for retention and cross sell
- Comply with the Bank’s compliance requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferably in finance, business or economics or equivalent related work experience.
- 5 to 7 years related banking experience. Minimum 2 years’ experience in deposit gathering is required.
- Excellent relationship management skills – must be able to cold call, develop and maintain long term relationships
- Excellent presentation and communication skills – ability to hear what a prospect / client needs and translate that into a marketable solution
- Ability to work well independently – requires self-motivation, a knowledge of contact tracking systems and time management skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to a dynamic environment.
- Proven track record in sales, customer development and retention.
