Overview
The Deposit Clerk performs a variety of general accounting and clerical support tasks related to the efficient maintenance and Reconciling daily cash & ACH deposits. He or she compiles and maintains schedules, reconciles statements, and receipts in all payments from vendors, customers etc. Including the process of Service Contracts, Gap Agreements and Tire and Wheel Contracts.The ideal candidate has a degree in Accounting or Business Administration, at least one year of experience in a position of similar responsibility, and knowledge of accounts receivable and general accounting procedures. He or she must be detail-oriented and good with numbers and proficient with accounting software and with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Responsibilities
- Reconciling daily cash & ACH deposits.
- Ensures that all accounting transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
- Document and communicate short payments and unapplied cash through established procedures.
- Maintaining clean schedules appropriate for job duties.
- Provide administrative support to management, other departments and employees as needed.
- Submit, cancel and reconcile extended Service Contracts, Gap Agreements and Tire and Wheel Contracts.
- Maintains an orderly accounting system.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Entry Level position.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
- Experienced with business applications and accounting software.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Able to deal with confidential information appropriately.
- Strong data entry and management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and interest in accuracy.
- Highly professional and dependable.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Must be able to multi-task.
- Must have good work ethics including maintaining a neat work area.
- Good attendance required.
