DEPCOM Power is seeking motivated and detail-oriented Project Development Engineer Interns and Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of engineering within the renewable energy sector. As interns you will work closely with experienced engineers and project managers to support the development and execution of solar power plant projects.

What You Will Do
Electrical Engineering Intern
- Assist in the planning, design, and execution of solar power plant projects.
- Conduct site assessments and surveys to gather data for project planning.
- Support the preparation of technical reports, drawings, and documentation.
- Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and optimize project performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies on-site.
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on assigned tasks.
Project Development Engineering Intern
- Work with Business Development team to review new projects bidding opportunities.
- Work with industry-standard software, such as PVSyst to estimate energy production capabilities.
- Prepare presentations to support DEPCOM's financially optimized design to the customer, showcasing the solution and benefits it brings to the customer's bottom line
- Prepare Preliminary Site Plan details including PV plant design parameters and analysis of the optimal design.
- Support customer calls and technical due diligence during the bid cycle of a Project.
- Travel to an operating PV power plant and/or active construction site to gain in-person hands-on knowledge.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Currently pursing a degree in Engineering or technical study (i.e. Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Construction Management or related field).
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the U.S. for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or sponsorship
- Eligible for full time employment on or before Summer 2027
