Position Summary:
Provide administrative support to the VP of Content Development and the Senior Director of Brand Strategy and Creative. Coordinate all business and development department meetings, update and maintain development pipeline status and assignments in database and department files. Organize travel and logistics, coordinate zooms and meetings, create and submit expenses, maintain multiple calendars and schedules. Prepare written and visual presentations for senior executives and have the ability to quickly adjust priorities to provide critical materials in a timely, accurate and creative manner. Generate and distribute trackers as well as agendas for meetings as needed. Maintain development program lists, spreadsheets, and databases. Assist with research for decks and pitches, and in coordination with the Development Coordinator, assist in the creation of project decks and pitch materials.
Serve as the interface with the SMUGGLER operations team and coordinators based in the LA and New York offices, and with colleagues across other SMUGGLER departments and companies. Manage all office and facility needs for the Miami office including Google drive and domain management, IT troubleshooting, interfacing with facilities management, company equipment and supplies requests, general office needs, etc…
Position Requirements:
Fluency in Spanish is required along with strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish. Must be able and willing to take initiative to problem solve and ask for help when needed. The ability to multitask and work effectively under changing priorities and daily time
constraints with a professional demeanor. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suites is required. In addition, knowledge of or a willingness to learn graphic design software (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, InDesign) or other presentation software (e.g. Readymag, Canva). Manage and maintain organization of in-office equipment such as hard drives, company owned computers, printers, copiers, etc…
Interest in unscripted and non-fiction longform entertainment, B.A. or B.S. degree, and a minimum of one year of previous work in a Film/TV professional environment.
Must be local to the greater Miami area.
