Our client is currently hiring a Dental Receptionist for their office located in Holyoke, MA 01013. This is a full-time position for the following days & hours: Monday - Friday 8 a.M. To 5 p.M.
Our ideal receptionist will have at least 1 year of exceptional customer service skills and experience working in a dental office is preferred. We offer a competitive salary, plus benefits! Reception is the first line of customer service for all patients and visitors entering our office. They will greet patients, sign them in, schedule future appointments, and handle incoming phone calls. They will assist patients in accordance with the training they have received, ensuring patients receive the best possible service.

Responsibilities
- Customer Service;acknowledge, smile, and greet patients upon arrival/ dismissal
- Respond to patient questions and or concerns according to DCA Policies
- Answering telephones.
- Scheduling appointments, confirming appointments, and maintaining the appointment book.
- Follow up on no-shows/cancellations of appointments.
- Ensure that patients are properly registered on the sign-in sheet.
- Post charges and payments to patient accounts.
- Ensure that voicemail is checked daily.
- Maintain a clean and friendly waiting area for patients.
Qualifications
- 1 year of experience working in a dental, medical, or other healthcare office preferred
- Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO) is a plus
- Must be comfortable answering telephones, addressing customer questions/ concerns, and leaving voicemails.
- Must have exceptional customer service skills
