Baystate Dental is currently looking for a Dental Hygienist for our office located in Sturbridge, MA 01566. This is a full-time position working 4 days per week (8:00-5:00) with either Monday or Friday off.

At Baystate Dental, we utilize the most innovative techniques and technologies to ensure effectiveness, efficiency and comfort for our patients and hygienists. We're currently using digital x-rays, 3D Cone Beam and Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT - training provided at no cost to employee). Appointments are 1 hour to allow our hygienists plenty of time to educate and provide thorough, quality care to our patients.
If you're a hygienist with excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to thrive in a high volume dental office, we would love to have you join our team! Previous experience is great, but we also welcome recent hygiene grads to apply as well. The Hygienist we hire must have an active Hygiene license for the state of MA or recent grads must be applying for license soon. Bilingual, English/Spanish, is a plus.
Our newer, modern facility, is located within 30 minutes from the Worcester area, is near shopping, and has easy access from the Mass Pike.
Responsibilities:
- Through the delivery of periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services, Dental Hygienists are committed to improving the oral health of patients. Candidates must be enthusiastic about their dental work, and willing to provide the highest level of care at all times
- Under limited supervision, the Dental Hygienist provides oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education in accordance with guidelines approved, issued, and regulated by the state in which they work.
- Patient screening, medical history and dental charting.
- Application of fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line.
- Provides nutritional counseling, and self-care programs to prevent disease.
- Other duties as assigned
- Active Hygiene license for the state of Massachusetts
