This practice runs assisted hygiene and compensation for a well-qualified, skilled hygienist can be based on hygiene collections from two chairs that are currently booked through the end of May.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
- Associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene
- Current North Carolina Dental Hygienist license (or immediate eligibility)
- CPR certification required; BLS certification is a plus
Experience and Training
- Preferred clinical experience in a high-functioning dental office, with preference given to experience operating in an assisted hygiene model
- Training on an electronic medical record
- EPIC training is a major plus, but not necessary
- Local anesthesia training is a plus
Knowledge, Skills, Ability:
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Flexibility to cover other offices under High Point University Health
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Be an elite HPU Health provider
- Prophylaxis, scaling and root planning, patient education, and other clinical functions
- Continuously assesses the hygiene schedule ensuring optimum patient flow
- Responds to patient, clinical, and operational concerns timely and effectively.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Clinical Operations
- Supports practice and organizational goals
ACCOUNTABILITY:
- Director of Clinical Operations
- Evaluation: Ongoing performance reviews is conducted along with an annual assessment by the CDO and includes input from the faculty and students.
