Location: Ohio City Family Dentistry
Biweekly Hours: 64.00
Shift: 4 weekdays 8a-4:30p

Summary:
Supports the delivery of high-quality dental and preventative care to children through adult patient populations within the scope of the Dental Hygienist license and under the supervision of the Dentist(s). Assists in providing a system that delivers services efficiently, effectively, and safely with care and compassion. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
Qualifications:
Required: High school diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam, and a graduate of an accredited school of Dental Hygiene. Current Dental Hygienist license from the Ohio State Dental Board. Completes the Permissible Practices Documentation for Dental Hygienists per the Ohio State Dental Board's directive. Current BLS Certification from the AHA. Willing to work according to job assigned and over-time requirements (i.e. days, evenings, weekends, and in-home care service or outpatient dental clinics in the MetroHealth System). Access to reliable transportation to travel to all satellite locations or home care facilities as needed. Preferred: 1 year of experience as a Dental Hygienist. Physical Requirements: May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to sit or stand for extended periods. See in the normal visual range with or without correction. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Requires some exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids. Requires some exposure to chemicals.
