Dental Hygienist at Monument Family Dentistry

$88,200 - $95,020 yearly

• Conduct initial screenings for patients to understand their oral health history
• Put patients at ease by talking with them before, during, and after the appointment
• Record any changes to the patient’s health history and document the ongoings of each appointment
• Use x-ray machines to take photos of the patients’ teeth so the dentist can clearly identify cavities or other oral health issues
• Disinfect all dental instruments to ensure cross-contamination does not occur

• Physical stamina to stand for up to 8 hours at a time
• Understands HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines
• Has dental hygienist licensure in the state where the job is located
• 1+ years of experience in dental hygiene work
• Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills

• 2+ years of Hygiene experience
• Proficient in EagleSoft and digital X-rays, a plus
• Anesthesia and CPR Certified
• Laser Certified (preferred) - Or will certify
• Graduate from an accredited Hygiene Program and Colorado State Board-Certified
• Superb customer service and communication skills 
• Understands HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines
• Must have at least an associate’s degree in dental hygiene; bachelor’s degree preferred
