Full Time Dental Hygienist Schedule:
Tuesday 9:30 am - 7:00 pm
Wednesday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Thursday 7:30 am - 3:00 pm
1 hour lunch break on Tuesday and Wednesdays

- Build strong relationships with patients, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience
- Screening patients and providing quality care during check-ups
- Educating patients in oral hygiene technique and working with patients and their oral hygiene care
- Reviewing patient's history and charting
- Administers prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing
- Documents area of existing restorations
- Use of X-ray
- Support the dentist with procedures as needed
- Licensed as a Dental Hygienist in the state of Louisiana
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach
- Current BLS/CPR certifications
- Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training
- Minimum 1 or more years of RDH clinical experience - but new grads are welcome!
- Knowledgeable about perio health and comfortable with patient education
- Team player, open, positive, and flexible, goal oriented
- Experience with dental practice software
