This is for a long term Friday temp position. We currently do not have a Hygienist that works on Friday's. We welcome adding more hours at other supported offices as an Temp. looking for an experienced Hygienist who can grab the role and run with it.

Hygienists hours: Fridays 7:30-1:30

Oakleaf Family Dentistry , like each Heartland Dental supported office, is unique to the community and the patients they serve. Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Floridaand an Associates or Bachelors degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• 1 years of clinical experience
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person)?periodically throughout the year
• As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
