Faculty members are primarily responsible for the teaching and learning process in the classroom. Faculty members facilitate and ensure student learning and mastery of course, program, and institutional learning outcomes as defined in the curriculum and course syllabi. Instructors are supported and supervised by the Academic Dean, Program Director and/or Campus Director.

Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required
Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
- BLS for Heathcare Provider (AHA or ARC)
2 years of clinical practice experience
All dental hygiene program faculty members must have:
(1) Current knowledge of the specific subjects they are teaching.
(2) Documented background in current educational methodology concepts consistent with teaching assignments.
(3) Faculty who are dental hygienists or dentists must be graduates of programs accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation. A dentist who was appointed as a faculty prior to July 1, 2022 is exempt from the graduation requirement.
(4) Evidence of faculty calibration for clinical evaluation.
Schedule: hours will vary. Tuesday 12:30 pm - 5:00 pm, Friday 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
