Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate Dental Director to lead our dental practices in Houlton and Dover-Foxcroft, ME. As a Dental Director, you will oversee the clinical operations of the dental team, ensure high-quality patient care, and provide leadership to support the growth and success of our practices. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated dental professional to shape and improve the overall patient experience while promoting a collaborative and effective work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Management: Oversee and manage all clinical dental operations, including supervision and guidance of the dental team (dentists, hygienists, assistants).
- Quality Care: Ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care by providing direction on clinical standards, protocols, and treatment procedures.
- Training & Development: Lead the training and development of dental staff, including performance evaluations, continuing education, and skill development.
- Operational Efficiency: Manage daily operations to optimize patient flow, scheduling, and clinic organization to ensure efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Patient Care: Provide direct patient care when needed, including examinations, diagnostics, and various dental treatments.
- Compliance: Ensure that the practice adheres to all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and safety standards.
- Collaboration: Work with other healthcare professionals and management teams to enhance interdisciplinary collaboration and ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications:
- Education: Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
- Licensure: Active and valid dental license to practice in the state of Maine.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in dentistry with at least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Skills: Strong leadership and management abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to high standards of patient care.
- Certifications: CPR/BLS certification required.
