Dental Stain & Glaze Technician - Affordable Care LLC

JOB PURPOSE:

Stain and glaze Zirconia / PMMA fixed arches, crowns, and crowns over implant. The role will involve working with high-quality dental restorations, with a focus on staining and glazing zirconia to create lifelike, durable restorations that meet our high standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for dental artistry, attention to detail, and an eagerness to grow within our company.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Reads and understands the prescriptions / work orders and applies doctor’s preferences to the fabrication of Zirconia and PMMA prosthetics.
• Highly receptive to in person mentorship and hands on training.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Prior dental laboratory experience preferred.
• Artistic training or experience painting, drawing or sketching skills are highly transferable
• Proficient in crown & bridge, full-arch hybrid restorations, and implant based restorative techniques.
• Follows all standard operating procedures related to the fabrication fixed arches, crowns, and bridges.
• Routinely maintains and calibrates equipment such as porcelain furnaces and handpieces.
• Strong eye for determining shades and esthetics
• Confident and comfortable working with your hands and possesses good hand-eye coordination
• Mechanical ability and/or artistic ability
• Works collaboratively in a team environment and takes direction from Managers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while paying a strong attention to details
• Adheres to all company policies, procedures, OSAH protocols and FDA requirements

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Certified Dental Technician preferred.
• 3 to 5 years’ experience contouring, finishing, staining & glazing Zirconia and PMMA prosthetics.
• Strong knowledge of dental science, anatomy, and esthetics.
