About the Job
Overview
The Service Coordinator will organize, manage, schedule, and conduct all processes necessary for the branch to complete service work. The Service Coordinator will work with the Service Technicians and perform other tasks assigned by the Service Manager or Assistant Service Manager.
Responsibilities
- Organize and manage the scheduling of all service work, trainings, and warranty service work
- Analyze and update service scheduling including technician assignment
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers in order to provide the best possible service
- Prepare service-generated quotations for customers that are requesting service work or machine training
- Communicate with customer and service technicians in order to assure that service jobs are completed efficiently and on time
- Support customer’s and technicians with ordering and processing of parts orders for spare parts and onsite services
- Provide support to customers or distributors that are attending facility trainings
- Organize office operations and procedures
- Maintain work area, equipment, and tools in a clean and organized manner; following all Safety Guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education
A high school diploma or GED required; vocational-technical school or, equivalent military experience or technical college training program preferred
Experience & Skills
- 4 years minimum experience in an administrative, customer service or technical environment
- Knowledge of roll forming service industry preferred
- Ordering and purchasing experience
- Experience with scheduling multiple employees
- Previous supervisor experience
- Ability to multi-task in a face paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong computer skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Must successfully complete drug screen, physical and E-Verify
