POSITION

Title: Registered Dental Assistant

Status: Regular - Part-time/Full-time

Location: West Covina

Working Hours: Monday-Friday (9 AM- 6 PM)

Short Job Description: A Registered Dental Assistant, is responsible for helping to provide patient care and supporting the Dentist. The role comes with a variety of responsibilities such as teaching patient proper oral hygiene, preparing operatory room for treatment, Sterilizing equipment, performing basic dental procedures such as taken patient's X-Ray, polishing, Sealants, and helping out across the office as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS and REQUIREMENTS:

• BLS certificate (Required)
• Valid RDA license (Required)
• Proficiency in dental office software (Open Dental)
• Great Communication skills
• Bilingual (Preferred)
• Previous work experience in a dental office (Preferred)
• Detail-oriented and reliable

POSITION SUMMARY

Under direct and indirect supervision, the assistant will assist the Dentist in both administrative and clinical duties including: prepare patient for procedure or exam, sterilize and disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays, prepare materials, and assist during dental procedures. Provide patient and practice support services, including, but not limited to, personal assistance, medical attention, and emotional support.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• GED Certificate, high school diploma
