Dental Assistant Floater - North Coast Dental Excellence
North Coast Dental Excellence is seeking a skilled and adaptable Dental Assistant Floater to join our dedicated team, providing essential support across our practices in Oceanside and surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists during various procedures, including restorative work, surgery, implants, and endodontics.
- Prepare, organize, and sterilize instruments and dental equipment, maintaining rigorous infection control standards.
- Perform dental scanning and imaging with accuracy to support diagnostic processes.
- Deliver exceptional patient care, providing comfort and guidance throughout treatment visits.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with appointment coordination as needed.
- Adapt quickly to different practice environments and actively contribute to a positive team culture.
- Monitor and manage inventory to ensure all necessary dental supplies are well-stocked.
- Perform basic front desk duties, including scheduling and patient communication, if cross-trained.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of chair-side experience.
- Must be able to work Saturdays (9 AM - 5 PM) and weekdays (9 AM - 6 PM).
- Strong verbal communication skills to support basic front desk responsibilities.
- Experience with Open Dental software is a plus.
- Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program.
- Valid California Dental Assistant certification/license.
- Radiography certification preferred.
- Proficiency in dental scanning techniques and imaging procedures.
- Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
