Dental Assistant - Adelphi Medical Staffing

Adelphi is seeking a Dental Assistant to provide services at a student residential training facility in Devens, Massachusets (MA). The Dental Assistant will be responsible for providing preventive and corrective services to students in the facility. The ideal candidate will be registered as a Dental Assistant in MA, with a radiology certification.

• Dental Assistant registered with the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Dentistry.

• Radiology Certification from the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) or a comparable program.

• CPR

• 1 year experience in dental assisting preferred.

• Provide educational programs focused on preventive dental care to enhance students' oral hygiene and overall dental health.

• Collaborate with facility staff to address and manage students' dental health issues and requirements.

• Develop and ensure adherence to infection control policies and procedures.

• Prioritize and deliver comprehensive dental care, based on diagnostic assessments and program guidelines.

• Capture and process dental radiographs (x-rays) under the direction of the center dentist.

• Perform administrative tasks, often using a personal computer, including scheduling appointments, handling phone calls, and managing billing.

• Conduct quality assurance audits of dental records.

• Manage and update dental records.

• Compile and maintain dental productivity data and monthly utilization reports.

• Other duties as assigned by the facility's administration.
