About the Job
We are an established correctional facility in Denver, CO that is actively seeking a dedicated and reliable Dental Assistant to join our team!
What We Offer:
• Great Pay: $22 to $30 per hour
• PTO, STO
• Paid Holidays
• Part-time schedule: 32 hours per week
• Health contribution
Responsibilities:
• Assist the dentist with procedures in restorative dentistry, oral surgery, periodontics, prosthetics, and patient examinations.
• Retrieve patient records and guide patients to their examination rooms.
• Hand instruments, retract tissues, irrigate the oral cavity, and operate the aspirator during procedures.
• Set up the treatment room and prepare instruments for each appointment.
• Monitor patient responses and support them during dismissal from the clinic.
Qualifications:
• Specialty training from a licensed dentist and/or certification from an accredited Dental Assistant school
• Training in dental radiology and radiology safety
• 2 years of previous experience as a Dental Assistant
