Dental Assistant - Bucktown/Wicker Park, IL - Arch Dental

Located in the heart of Bucktown, Bucktown Wicker Park Dental is looking for a full-time Dental Assistant to join our talented and compassionate team of dental professionals! Schedule for the Dental Assistant:

• Monday: OFF

• Tuesday: 7:00AM - 7:00 PM

• Wednesday: 10:00 AM -7:30 PM

• Thursday: 7:00AM - 4:00PM

• Friday- 6:30 AM - 2:00 PM

• Saturday- 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM (1-2 Saturdays per month)

Responsibilities and Requirements of the Dental Assistant:

• 1 year of experience required; 2 years minimum preferred

• Help with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments.

• Educate patients on oral hygiene and provide pre/post-care instructions.

• Assist the dentists during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and readiness.

• Prepare and organize instruments, equipment, and materials for appointments.

• Take and process dental X-rays, adhering to safety standards.

• Perform basic lab tasks like taking impressions and preparing molds.

• Monitor and order supplies to keep the practice stocked and organized.

• Recording treatment information in patient records
