THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN PLEASANT GROVE
POSITION SUMMARY
The Demo Operator will be responsible for onboarding customers and sales teams on the operation of Caterpillar equipment. The Demo Operator will train new and existing customers on equipment operations and CAT technology (CAT Command, CAT Productivity etc.) to run the equipment. Will also be responsible for supporting the Sales Department for processes related to machine technology and other digital tools to educate customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Demonstrate and train customers and sales teams on Caterpillar equipment operation in different applications.
- Demonstrate and train customers and sales teams on Caterpillar technology systems (CAT Command, CAT Productivity) in different applications.
- Create presentations and articulate to customers machine technology and operations.
- Coordinate with training department on New Products to train sales, parts and service.
- Coordinate with Customer Equipment Solutions team on visits for customer training and support of the digital platforms.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Excellent communication skills (oral and written), creativity, resourcefulness, and an internal/external customer service orientation are essential in order to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization as well as with outside clients.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general information.
- Ability to write business correspondence, memos, and other material.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
- Ability to fulfill the essential functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.
- Must be a self-starter who is able to work with little direction and supervision.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, time management, and be detailed orientated.
- Must be proactive and confident with a willingness to offer input and to contribute and defend ideas.
- A high level of proficiency required in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint is required to perform the varied duties of this position.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to five years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have a valid driver license and a clean DMV report.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee frequently works in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
COMPENSATION
Wage Range $65,000 to $80,000 annually
Wage depends on knowledge, skills and ability to perform the responsibilities of the job.
