Schedule: Mon - Fri 130 pm to 10 pm (Could be subject to change according to business needs)

Dash Courier & Logistics Services, a high volume 24/7/365 on-demand courier service, is accepting applications for a Delivery Driver / Logistics Coordinator

The Delivery Driver / Logistics Coordinator is expected to assist with various duties related to Dispatch, Customer Service, Order Entry, and branch support responsibilities.

This position will require the ability to drive a company vehicle for deliveries, along with the performance of daily warehouse duties and or operations duties in the call center. Primarily 1st shift with occasional after-hours and weekends. Compensation is based on experience.

Must be familiar with the use of a lift gate, pallet jack, and hand trucks/dollies. Would prefer someone local to and familiar with the greater Charlotte area.

Preference will be given to candidates with previous commercial driving experience, warehouse experience, and flexibility in schedule.

Prefer candidates with clean Criminal Background checks, Drug tests, and Motor Vehicle Records that will be performed by a third party.

Preferred candidates should be flexible, adjust to various responsibilities, be able to multitask, and work under pressure.

This position can offer growth to the right candidate who demonstrates the desire to see success and go above and beyond.

· Some experience with Logistics Scheduling/Coordinating, Customer Service, and taking the "lead by example" approach with progressive responsibility or in a Lead position. (Preferred)

· Some experience with entering orders by phone, email, and seeking out the details. (Preferred)

· Proficient with computers and office-related software. (Required)

Previous Dispatching and Logistics experience (Preferred)

· Knowledge of the geographic area.

· Communicate regularly with employees & customers and develop a good rapport with drivers.

· Able to take direction, follow instructions, and have good communication skills - using phone, email, and order event notations.

· Possess good decision-making skills.

· Applicant must have their own reliable transportation to get to the office daily and have a valid driver's license.

You must have a professional appearance, a clean criminal background, a good MVR, and no felonies or DUIs in the past 7 years. A 3rd party group will conduct a background check and drug screening.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
