Job Summary

As a Full Time Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in safely and responsibly transporting company products to multiple stores and clients. Building and nurturing positive relationships with customers will be key to your success. You will be entrusted with maintaining our company vehicle in excellent condition, following California driving standards rigorously. Collecting payments and obtaining signatures for verification will be part of your daily responsibilities. Additionally, you will keep detailed records of fuel expenses and mileage.

Key Responsibilities

• Safe & Timely Deliveries: Deliver cannabis products to customers, ensuring timely and secure handling of products from the dispensary to the delivery location.
• Compliance: Strictly adhere to all cannabis-related regulations, including verifying customer identification, ensuring legal age, and maintaining compliance logs for each delivery.
• Customer Service: Provide a positive customer experience by being professional, courteous, and maintaining clear communication during deliveries.
• Product Handling: Ensure the quality and safety of cannabis products during transport, taking care to handle products according to company standards.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working order, clean, and equipped with necessary supplies.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including times, locations, payments, and customer signatures. Report any issues or discrepancies to the delivery manager immediately.
• Cash & Product Management: Handle cash and product exchanges securely, ensuring accurate transaction logging and reconciliation at the end of each shift.
• Route Optimization: Use GPS or route-planning software to optimize delivery routes, minimizing travel time and fuel costs.
• Communication: Keep open lines of communication with dispatch, management, and customers to ensure smooth delivery operations, reporting any delays or issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years of age or older (due to legal requirements for handling cannabis).
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• 1-2 years of experience in delivery driving or a related role preferred.
• Knowledge of local and state cannabis laws and regulations (training may be provided).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle cash and complete transactions accurately.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the cannabis industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with GPS devices and delivery apps.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of cannabis products and regulations is advantageous.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Must be comfortable driving for extended periods.
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, including stair climbing.
