Job Summary
The Deli Commissary Associate will be responsible for preparing for food production events, prepare the items (like salads, entrees & dips) and package them to send out to all store locations. We pride ourselves on maintaining a clean and safe environment for all of our associates and we work together to accomplish this goal.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Slicing meats and cheeses using the deli slicer
- Weigh, package, price and label Deli items
- Prepare deli items, various deli salads, pizzas, sandwiches/wraps, and dips according to the daily production schedule
- Assist with maintaining the back cooler including; rotating stock, dating and cleaning
- Maintain sanitation and temperature logs as needed
- Operate, maintain and clean deli equipment including knives, ovens, fryers, dishwashers, coolers and slicers
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety/sanitation regulations and procedures
- Assist with all other Deli Department duties as needed
Work Experience
Qualifications:
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age due to required operation of Deli equipment
- Eagerness to interact with customers
- Strong sense of team – ability to anticipate the needs of the team
- Ability to work at a fast paced and efficient manner
- Ability to take initiative and make decisions independently regarding department needs and priorities, under general supervision
- Excellent time management, prioritization and organization skills
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, push/pull for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
